Stayin’ Alive At 25 – Details on the 2011 Poultry Festival
May 11, 2011We hope you will join us THIS WEEKEND to celebrate the 25th year of the South Carolina Poultry Festival. The festival begins Thursday at 5:00pm with a pay-one-price ride night (wristbands are $20 on Thursday, $25 on Friday). Rides will run until 9PM Thursday and 11:30 PM Friday and Saturday.
Bands take the stage Friday at 7:00pm with Chef Fatback and the Groove Band followed by the Calvin Taylor Trio.
The parade begins Saturday at 10:15 AM then the day of fun continues and wraps up with a fireworks show at 9pm and 7 Once playing on the main stage until 11:30pm.

2011 Poultry Festival t-shirts will be available: $10 youth sizes, $12 adults, $15 2X or larger.
We’re Stayin’ Alive At 25!
March 29, 2011Join the South Carolina Poultry Festival May 12th, 13th and 14th as we celebrate our 25th year! You can enjoy your favorites like the annual parade, road race, volleyball tournament, cooking contest, car show, games and rides.And as always, we will have a variety of food vendors and craft booths, 5 stages of entertainment and the eggs-travagant fireworks display Saturday night. There is something for everyone!
Thursday, May 12th is ONE-PRICE RIDE NIGHT. Friday continues with musical entertainment and a street dance. Saturday brings more fun with a parade beginning at 10 a.m., featuring over 100 units. Throughout the day enjoy many of the activities the festival provides and end the day with a fireworks display and entertainment on the main stage.
